Είναι σημαντικός χώρος της πόλης με αξιόλογα γλυπτά που έχουν κατασκευαστεί τον περασμένο αιώνα ή αρχές του 20ου αιώνα, τα οποία αποτελούν ένα ανοικτό μουσείο γλυπτικής, όπως αυτό διαμορφώθηκε από τον περασμένο αιώνα μέχρι σήμερα. Επίσης, αποτελεί σημείο αναφοράς για τους κατοίκους της Τρίπολης, γιατί είναι άμεσα συνδεδεμένο με τις ιστορικές και συναισθηματικές μνήμες τους.
