Description
English: Ancient Greek marble statuette of the third-first century BC depicting the Anatolian mother-goddess Cybele, enthroned and holding a drum while surrounded by two lions, her sacred animals. Head and parts of the arms missing. It was found in the plot of the new Acropolis Museum, and exhibited in the Excavation Room with inventory number 125. Athens Greece.
