Description

KEMERALTI CAMİİ İzmir Anafartalar Caddesi'nde Kemeraltı Çarşısı içerisinde 853. Sokak’ta bulunan bu camiyi Yusuf Çamazade Ahmet Ağa 1671 yılında yaptırmıştır. Cami dükkânlar ve yapılar arasında sıkışmış durumdadır. Kesme taştan yapılan caminin önünde üç kubbeli bir son cemaat yeri bulunmaktadır. İbadet mekânı kare planlı olup üzerini merkezi tromplu bir kubbe örtmektedir. Caminin dış kenarları saçak hattından yüksek yuvarlak kemerli dışa taşkın birer pencere ile aydınlatılmıştır. Bunun dışında ibadet mekânı iki sıra halinde pencerelerle aydınlatılmıştır. Bunlardan alt sıradakiler yuvarlak kemerli olup ikinci sıra pencereler daireler halindedir. Minber ve mihrabı bir özellik taşımamaktadır. Caminin içerisi XVIII. yüzyıla tarihlenen kalem işleri ile bezenmiştir. Bu bezeme XX. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında yapılan onarımlar sırasında eski izlere dayanılarak yenilenmiştir.

Kesme taş kaideli minaresi yuvarlak gövdeli ve tek şerefelidir. Caminin bitişiğinde XVIII. yüzyılda yapılmış bir sebil bulunmaktadır.
