Description
Norsk nynorsk: Frå artikkelen "Universitetets Saml. Tilvæxt af Oldsager i 1876" av O. Rygh: "Øxeblad af Jern, fra yngre Jernalder, ganske usædvanlig lidet (...) Dets Længde er 7,8 cm. Beskadiget i det ene Hjørne foran, ellers vel bevaret. F[undet] under en Røs paa Østerlid i Bø Pgd. [Bratsberg Amt]." [Bø i Telemark]
English: From article by O. Rygh ["New additions to the University's collection of antiquities, 1876"]: "Iron axe from later Iron Age, quite extraordinarily small (...) Length 7.8 cm. Damaged in one corner, otherwise well preserved. Found under a mound at Østerlid in Bø, Bratsberg county [Telemark county]."
