Deutsch: Öllampe nach dem Cardanischen Sturzflaschenprinzip. Die Flamme verzehrt den Brennstoff im kleinen Behälter (links). Wenn der Brennstoffstand soweit absinkt, daß Luft in den Ölbehälter (rechts) eindringen kann, läuft eine geringe Menge Öl aus. Der steigende Ölpegel verschließt augenblicklich die Öffnung wieder. Bei dieser Lampe beträgt die Brenndauer bei kleiner Flamme so bis zu hundert Stunden. Dabei muß jedoch der Docht einige Male gewechselt werden. |
