Title
?Iron Age glass bead, reverse
Description
English: A complete annular glass bead. It is monochrome, dull yellow/brown. It has a diameter of 16.5-18.1mm; it has an irregular circumference. The diameter of the perforation is 8.0mm. It is 7.0-9.3mm high and weighs 2.6g. The join is discernible, as is a hole created by an air bubble. Monochrome annular beads have been found in both late Iron Age and Roman contexts and are difficult to date precisely. Blue/green examples are the most common, but dark blue, yellow/brown and greenish colourless examples are also known.
