Description
English: A worn copper alloy 10-reis of John III of Portugal. It has the crowned shield of Portugal on the obverse (a large shield with seven castles set around an inner shield. The inner shield contains five smaller shields arranged in a cross and each containing five pellets) and a large X for the denomination on the reverse.

A similar coin from Hammoon, Dorset is recorded on the database as DOR-CB3E86.
