| Description | De Furie, de laatste door stoom aangedreven zeesleepboot in Nederland. Van stapel gelopen in 1916 bij een werf in de provincie Groningen, diende ze tot ver in de jaren zeventig als sleepboot voor de papierindustrie in Zweden. Vervolgens werd ze aangekocht voor een rol in de legendarische televisieserie ‘Hollands Glorie’, naar het boek van Jan de Hartog. In 1978 gekocht door de Stichting Hollands Glorie te Maassluis en sindsdien weer onder Nederlandse vlag. |
