Description Why This Photo Is Meaningful to Me: This photo was taken while I was visiting my brother who lives in Rochester, New york in a small cabin next to the Great Lake Ontario. Technology was limited which made the visit that much more pleasant. The days were peaceful and the beauty of the frozen over Great Lake was breath taking. As i came out the cabin one day I noticed these huge great danes playing along the lake. At that very moment I couldn't help but smile at the large, goofy, playful dogs. There playful sprite made the day seem more than perfect and I wanted so bad to capture the moment and energy they were creating for me. As i laid down in the snow with my camera the huge great danes pranced around me as if i wasn't even there. It was thrilling having these massive great danes pouncing pass me over and over again. As I raised my camera and looked through the view finder the dogs entered my frame. I remember at that very moment pushing down the shutter button and smiling with a grin. When I looked at the cameras screen it confirmed my smile even more so, I had managed to capture that playful sprite and the energy I was longing for. Now I have a photograph of these gentle giants that will remain with me forever and always remind me of that majestic day.
