English: A New definition for Earth’s “waterway cycle”
The same basic definition for our Earth’s water cycle has been taught for 430 years. This old definition is based on the research and writings of Bernard Palissy. In 1580, Palissy published his water cycle definition in his book, Discours Admirables (Admirable Discourses). Since 1580, Palissy’s definition of the water cycle has been taught to people of all cultures around the world. Based on newly published research, it is now understood that Palissy’s definition only included information on what is now known as the "atmospheric water cycle." Because of this new research, we now know that Earth’s water cycle is an "open system" that connects Earth's water from its molten inner core to the water in our surrounding universe. This new definition is composed of three interactive cycles that are essential for life on Earth: 1. The atmospheric water cycle. 2. The oceanic water cycle. 3. The cosmic water cycle. A recent waterway cycle 38-page book was published in December 2014. This book is available for free download via a link that allows for immediate free download and printing This new book contains updated scientific proof, quotes from prominent scientists, and 50 citations that fully support this new waterway cycle definition. The "waterway cycle" poster on this page is a work-in-progress prototype. A new poster is currently in development and will be available to readers of this Wikipedia page in the near future. So too, a more in-depth presentation with additional material about the "waterway cycle" will also soon be published by on this page. |
