El fresco fue destruido el 13 de agosto de 1943 durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, a causa de un bombardeo. La fotografía fue publicada en 1897 en el libro "Gli affreschi di G.B. Tiepolo raccolti da Gerardo Molfese con uno studio di Attilio Centelli".English: "Triumph of the Arts and Sciences", fresco by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo for the Archinto Palace (Milan), painted c. 1730-1731. The photograph shows only a part of the whole fresco.
The fresco was destroyed on August 13, 1943 during World War II, due to a bombardment. The photograph was published in 1897 in the book "Gli affreschi di G.B.
