| Description |
English: UKR tour down the re-opened Waverley route using class 90 haulage from London to Millerhill Yard, then 66003/011 down the Borders Railway and then the 90 back home - except that 90029 only got 6 feet along the platform at Edinburgh on the return leg when it failed. A Thunderbird was summoned from one of the bay platforms - 67 023 which valiantly hauled the entire train (with dead 90) back to KX. Arrival at Doncaster was 77 late, but the 67 had picked up 12 mins on an 89 late departure - not bad! |
