English: "Rest and be Thankful" on the Fungle Road. This is on the Glentanar Estate which was once owned by William Cunliffe Brookes. He had many carved stones placed on his estate - like these which overlook Deeside in the distance. The Fungle is an ancient track over the Mounth to Deeside. |
