Description
English: "Mustang" Scores Kill. The death blow to a Communist fighter, an IL-10, was administered by an F-51 "Mustang" of the Fifth Air Force's 18th Fighter Bomber Wing, and this is how it looked to Lt Col Ralph D. Saltsman, Jr., the pilot. The gun camera mounted in Col Saltsman's "Mustang" recorded this dramatic scene June 20, 1951 over North Korea. AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM#: 80692 AC
