La 20e "action painting" (1987) de l'artiste viennois Hermann Nitsch (Autriche, 1938 - 2022)

Hermann Nitsch est cofondateur du mouvement Wiener Aktionismus / Actionnisme viennois....L'intégration du sang, du corps animal et du corps humain, la combinaison de rituels et d'éléments liturgiques dans ses actions sanglantes à caractère cérémoniel ont crée de très nombreuses polémiques. Les créations de la 20è action painting sont présentées par "Zuecca Projects" et par le collectionneur Helmut Essl lors de la 59e Biennale de Venise dans deux grandes salles d'exposition situées sur l'île de la Giudecca à Venise.

C'est la seule "action painting" de l'artiste dont toutes les œuvres sont conservées dans une seule collection, elles sont montrées ensemble pour la première fois en Italie depuis leur création puis leur exposition à la "Secession viennoise", à Vienne en 1987.
