English: "Crossroads", Omagh. This road junction which is located at the intersection of the Mountjoy Road and the Old Mountfield Road, is referred to as "Crossroads". In one of Dr Haldene Mitchell's books "Images of Omagh" there is an article by William Mulgrew, which describes the location of the "Bull's-eye" as being near Gibson School, but this is not the case as it was here at this intersection - more at 1083471. |
