| Description |
English: "Cromwell's Tower" - 2009. This is the same view as 1310128 only 100 years later.
Well, it's not exactly the same view as that's no longer possible due to BP's serious industrial fencing blocking access to the original photographer's location, plus trees which weren't there either. However even though only half the tower is visible, the change in scenery is striking. What was agricultural land a century ago is now a grubby industrial estate, and all the quaint old buildings consigned to history. Shame really. |
