| Description |
English: "Binaki" is a type of steamed corn sweet tamales traditionaly wrapped in corn husks also called steamed corn cakes commonly found in Mindanao, Philippines. Binaki name means "wrapped with a pouch" from Cebuano bakibaki means (pouch made of leaves) . They are made by scrapping young corn on a grater and then added with milk and sweeteners. It serves as a traditional filipino cuisine and is also part of delicious snacks. |
