I don't understand how to stop this deletion. The subject of the photo (Kim Deal) and the photographer (me, Chris Glass) specifically released this photo for Wikipedia and thought we checked all the boxes for releasing and granting full permissions.

It's somewhat unusual for new users to start with uploading high-quality photograph of a known person. We had too many issues with fake own work tags of similar images. It's probably the best to send a usage permission to COM:OTRS, naming the already present file. --Denniss (talk) 21:36, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
