| Reason | One of the "historical" French communist leaders. For more details (see en:Marcel Cachin). -- This photo was shot in 1918 by an unknown photographer of fr:Agence Meurisse (slightly influenced by en:pictorialism !?)... The glass negative was developed in too hot a bath (imho), that's probably why the print looks reticulated (this is clearly visible on the face). Anyway, restored and cropped at home : no geocode. -- JLPC (talk) |
