  •  Support Both have minor compositional flaws, e.g., the roadbed is centered vertically and the left end is not visible. A higher, or lower, camera location may have been more interesting. This image shows 6.5 spans; the other, a bit more. However, both "illustrate its subject well" (resolution, illumination and exposure), I think. I choose this one because of the drama conveyed by the ripples in the river and the recession of the bridge into the distance. Also, this one shows more of the east approach thereby providing a bit more context for the structure, and it lacks the large foreground shadow in the lower left. Finally, it works better as a thumbnail, I think. --Walter Siegmund (talk) 17:12, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
