Comment This is precisely what should be done, and I will try, over several months or years. If you look at Muséum de Toulouse collection of ornithology you will see that the work started. I have at my disposal 15,000 eggs. I will propose these images VI gradually so as not to occupy that space. Oh, but I didn't want to discourage you, au contraire, the work is valuable no doubt. It is only that VI is a visual tool and maybe the eggs would find a perfect place in a VI set, combined with e.g. the nest, the chick and the parents. I do not pretend to say that the only view of the egg is enough to recognize the species. And that's why the scope is reduced to "Egg".
