Comment Useful, but I'm unsure for now. The right side is blurry at thumbnail size, but that's not really a bar to promotion. The thing is, my French is pretty good for a native English-speaker, and I'm not familiar with the word "Gisant". The normal practice I think we've agreed on is to use the title in the original language (in this case, French) and put an English translation in parentheses. Comment An effigie (gisant) is a funerary sculpture of Christian art depicting a character lying (as opposed to praying or praying) generally lying down, living or dead in a blissful or smiling attitude (as opposed to transfixed). Comment I wasn't looking at categories as an issue. I recognize the word "effigy" in English, but I didn't realize funerary sculptures could be called effigies. My point is that as I understand, the scope should be in French with an English translation of the scope in parentheses. J'ai dit que le problème avec le scope etait que la norme que nous avons accepté ici est d'utiliser la langue originelle (en ce cas, français) et ajouter la traduction anglais entre parenthèses.
