- Weak oppose It's a good photo, with decent detail and good bokeh. It's probably worth nominating for QI, but the standard for such a common subject at FPC is very high (it appears to be a feral pigeon btw, not a Barbary dove; I've removed it from that category). My main objection in this case is the composition -- it's too wide for where the subject is in the frame. It's possible that a different crop could bring me to neutral or weak support, depending on what was cropped out. — Rhododendrites talk | 15:20, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- Comment It doesn't look like a rock dove, if that's what you mean. I've never seen one with that pattern of feather pigmentation, and I've definitely never seen one with a red rim around the eye. What kind of pigeon do you figure it is? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:32, 23 April 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Is it better now?
- Comment Yes it is better, but would need to be much more detailed for FP. Charlesjsharp (talk) 18:42, 22 April 2023 (UTC)
- Weak oppose per Charles. --SHB2000 (talk) 11:49, 23 April 2023 (UTC)
- Weak oppose also per Charles; there's a little more CA and artifacting on the edge of the bird than an FP like this should have. Daniel Case (talk) 17:15, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
