- Oppose Multiple issues: severe detail loss, perspective warp, too tight top crop etc... This isn't even passing the bar for a QI, let alone being called one of the very best images on Commons. Generally, you need a proper DSLR camera to capture something worthy of FPC.--Peulle (talk) 10:45, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- Comment thanks for nominating, POS78. I don't want to leave you with the impression this is a bad picture -- it's not. There are technical issues that Peulle points out, but I think many people would be happy to get this kind of shot out of their phone camera. Ultimately, cell phone cameras have improved over the years, but rely on a tiny little lens that just cannot match the quality of a stand-alone camera. There is a level of technical quality that Featured Picture Candidates reviewers expect, and that's just about impossible with a phone camera, sorry. — Rhododendrites talk | 12:09, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for nominating this image. Unfortunately, it does not fall within the Guidelines and is unlikely to succeed for the following reason: outlined above.--Peulle (talk) 10:46, 24 March 2021 (UTC) | Anyone other than the nominator who disagrees may override this template by changing {{FPX}} to {{FPX contested}} and adding a vote in support.
