While I agree with the critic about the noise - it is indeed visible in the image - I cannot agree that the photo is underexposed. The directional light from above excellently reveals the object's texture and creates an interesting three-dimensional effect. This lighting is clearly an artistic choice, not a technical error. In photography, there is no 'right' or 'wrong' lighting, but rather different artistic choices that support the image's idea and mood. Neutral impressive, but as with the other nom it seems like it could be improved with post-processing. the hard part -- capturing such a detailed image of a tiny object on a clean background -- is over, and done well, so I hope to upgrade both of these votes soon. — Rhododendrites ^talk | 22:19, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
