- Oppose Poor quality and please don't insert your images onto English Wikipedia anonymously. I have removed it. Charlesjsharp (talk) 11:46, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Dear C., your irritation is your problem, you have not said anything specific in essence, you have not given any arguments. And, of course, you can edit Wikipedia like everyone else. Dion Art (talk ) 13:04, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- You reinserted your image into Wikipedia's white stork article and another editor has reverted it. Please do not edit war. Charlesjsharp (talk) 22:08, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Let's not get carried away with inter-wiki disputes on Commons, please. Keep enwiki issues to enwiki. --SHB2000 (talk) 03:33, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose Interesting capture, but the technical quality isn't there (lack of detail, noisy shadows, chromatic aberration). Perhaps some of these shortcomings can be mitigated with a less aggressive edit (e.g., lower overall exposure, less shadow pushing). In the meantime, I share Charles' frustration of seeing a sub-par image shoved into several Wikipedia pages when there's plenty of better alternatives ([1]) --Julesvernex2 (talk) 15:36, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the constructive criticism, but I'd like to point out that I didn't find any other well-depicted (i.e. interesting, with same/better detail) PAIRS OF WHITE STORKS CUDDLING/MATING on Wiki. If you have one, give a link, please. Dion Art (talk) 19:29, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- If that's the case, I suggest you add your image to an applicable article sub-section ('Breeding and lifespan', perhaps). Rather than show a specific behaviour, the front image should instead depict the main subject of the article (in this case, a white stork, not a pair of white storks. --Julesvernex2 (talk) 20:05, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- In answer to the question about well-depicted stork couples: File:Ruppertsberg Marlachwiesen 006 2021 04 22.jpg is an FP. File:Stolzenroth Störche Nest-20200319-RM-165137.jpg and File:Ruppertsberg Marlachwiesen 006 2021 04 22.jpg are QIs. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:07, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Both images are better in light but worse in dynamics and layout than this one. There is also noise, detail is worse x1.5, less sharper, the nest looks sharper than storks (2), shutter speed should be made shorter (1). Dion Art (talk) 20:55, 19 May 2023 (UTC)

- Warning Please, Dion Art, don't blank the page. You can't delete others' legitimate comments, even though it's a nomination you have created. Use {{Withdraw}} instead. Then the page will be quickly archived -- Basile Morin (talk) 01:33, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per Charles and Jules. --SHB2000 (talk) 03:33, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per Julesvernex2, Charles and Ikan. And, please, don't insert it in all Wikies. I see the same image as the front image of article about white stork in Russian Wikipedia. --LexKurochkin (talk) 05:07, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for nominating this image. Unfortunately, it does not fall within the Guidelines and is unlikely to succeed for the following reason: no supports besides nominator in four days, so it is not likely to be promoted at this point; nominator's behavior noted in discussion is not likely to help either | Anyone other than the nominator who disagrees may override this template by changing {{FPX}} to {{FPX contested}} and adding a vote in support.
