The Flickr uploader is not the copyright holder, so the license is invalid. Any chance this is PD-Old? —LX (talk, contribs) 14:57, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- Certainly false license; Creative Commons licenses did not exist in the 1930s. Note: Image has been deleted from Flickr. There is a "chance" this could be PD-US not renewed, but unless evidence that this is so surfaces and image description is modified to give actual source, authorship, and licensing, Delete. -- Infrogmation (talk) 16:02, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
- The film was first released in Czechoslovakia, so {{PD-US-not renewed}} can't apply. The film itself is still copyrighted: according to w:Copyright law of the European Union, "For films and other audiovisual works, the seventy year period applies from the last death among the following people, whether or not they are considered to be authors of the work by the national law of the Member State: the principal director (who is always considered to be an author of the audiovisual work), the author of the screenplay, the author of the dialogue and the composer of music specifically created for use in the cinematographic or audiovisual work"; the composer Giuseppe Becce died in 1973.
