Probable copyright violation; unlikely that the uploader "piaget" acts on behalf of the company /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 09:42, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- I suspect that this image is from http://www.piaget.com/NA/FR/CRAFTMANSHIP/ENAMEL My browser does not handle that page very well, but according to google it says: "Chaque pièce émaillée nécessite près de vingt passages au feu, tous à hauts risques. L’émail est inaltérable et ses couleurs traverseront les siècles en ..." A similar text is in the figure caption of the page where this image is used. The copyright notice on piaget.com is reserving all rights. It seems unlikely that the uploader is acting o behalf of the company. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 09:46, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Comment The uploader tried to explain his rationale here : User_talk:Rocket000/Archive_4#Image_Deleted, but this is not enough for us to keep the pictures. However he/she seems to be a valuable Wikipedia contributor, and someone on the French language Wikipedia seems to have been able to talk with him/her by electronic mail. [edit]- I have doubts on "own work". According to User_talk:Rocket000/Archive_4#Image_Deleted, the pictures uploaded by this uploader are the property of the Piaget company, and are the object of a "permission for Wikipedia", therefore unfree. Teofilo (talk) 16:43, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
