We have no information when this image was published first, hence {{Anonymous-EU}} does not apply. --AFBorchert (talk) 21:14, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How do you know that? Can you list the research you have done to establish where and when the image was published, that the author's name was not published at the time, and that copyright has never since been claimed? Research with negative results would be useful, but simple assertions are not.--MichaelMaggs (talk) 19:28, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, Darldarl, if {{Anonymous-EU}} is being used, a proof of a publication of that image more than 70 years ago must be provided. This is usually done by giving a bibliographic reference to its first publication. This very first publication can then checked out whether the photographer got any credit. All this is due to the uploader. (Here is an example. And see this case where a photograph from 1886 became PD just recently, i.e. it is not unlikely that a photograph from 1907 is still protected.) --AFBorchert (talk) 23:21, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted. No proof that it was published anonymously. --Tryphon (talk) 09:25, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
