"You are welcome to copy images from my site" nowhere talks about modification and commercial use. Rtc 13:30, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Keep with correct permission. Rtc is right about bad licensing... but instead of deleting, I suggest asking for permission for modification and commercial use using OTRS. That's because a search for "www.adamsguns.com" yields 257 results. I didn't check them all, but I suspect these are important to Wikimedia. Supposing the photography of a gun is solely the photographer's property. The uploader, User:Nemo5576, speaks Polish and very little English, so someone with a good knowledge of Polish could ask him to contact adamsguns.com again, this time the "proper" way. – Tintazul talk 18:16, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • A gun is a utility article and thus not copyrighted, hence the photo of a gun is not a derivative work of the gun. I can't "[ask] for permission for modification and commercial use using OTRS" simply because I don't have OTRS access. --Rtc 18:42, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
      • English-speaking people, not Nemo5576 should ask adamsguns. But I do not believe in succes: You are welcome to copy images from my site - Please give credit if you use it online. If you publish an image from my site - You must give credit.... Julo 14:55, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
