The source points to a certain book "Sultan Gubaidulla Genghis Khan - a complete cavalry general", which cannot be found on the Internet and the author of the media file may have taken it from anonymous sites (perhaps from this non-authoritative site: [1]). - If the file does not have an online source, this does not mean that the file is not worthy of existence. it is all the more obvious that the photo does not violate any copyright rules, since the photo is quite old, do not be offended by my nominations, okay? - You mentioned a certain book "Sultan Gubaidulla Genghis Khan - a full general from the cavalry", but I did not find any information on the Internet, could you provide it to us? It can be seen with the naked eye that you took it not from a book, but from this anonymous resource (where this fabulous book is also noted). Foggy kub (talk) 08:09, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- And what nominations are you talking about? Foggy kub (talk) 08:10, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- Keep No copyright jurisdiction allows a copyright longer than 120 years, even if unpublished. The license needs to be changed. --RAN (talk) 21:08, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Technically, in the UK and EU, there is a 25-year publication right for unpublished works and that would cover works created over 120 years ago. COM:Hirtle says this about works created pre-1978 but published from between March 1, 1989 and and 2002 "The greater of the term specified in the previous entry or 31 December 2047". In this case of this photograph, it was definitely published before 1978. I'm a Weak keep right now. It would be good to have a verified source to narrow down when it was published. - Then the author needs to find an authoritative source and choose the proper license. The author clearly took from the source, which I indicated as "possible", because. the rest of his media files are also taken from the same UNAUTHORIZED site ([2]). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foggy kub (talk • contribs) 17:37, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

Kept: PD template appears to be correct. Also, there's no such thing as an "Unauthorized site". --The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 04:56, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
