File that was only in use on a now-deleted article about a wannabe politician at en.wiki. Image is of low quality and serves no other conceivable purpose. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 02:23, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
- Keep I see that the article was deleted because they have decided that when notibility guidelines say that somebody is "presumed" to be notable, they still are not. Nobody questioned the fact that this individual has numerous newspaper articles about one and that these articles aren't from vanity press. I think when somebody comes this close to being encyclopaedic, they are definitely educational. VolodyA! V Anarhist Beta_M (converse) 03:55, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- How, exactly? The article was deleted for lack of notability, the newspaper references were extremely minor (who honestly cares that he was a central figure in a junior prom, for instance?), and the image is vey low quality. I don't see how this image can be used at all. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 14:26, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- Delete per en:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/William Andrew Dunckelman (2nd nomination). Takabeg (talk) 05:20, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
- Delete - the notability criteria were not met at the one WP where this file was used; the image is of very poor quality and dubious origin; and Commons is surely not Picasa or Flickr - either an image has an apparent use within the WMF scope or it does not. - Sitush (talk) 02:09, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
- I am getting tired of people misquoting policies. Image has to be "potentially educationally useful" not "has an apparent use within the WMF scope". In fact "not in use" has never been a reason for deletion. There are other projects which are educational in nature and which may use the image. VolodyA! - As I said above, it's very low-quality; how, exactly would this be useful? It's so grainy that anything it might be used for would almost certainly have a far better-quality replacement. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 01:27, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Deleted: As the only article using this file has been deleted, and it isn't in use on any page across the projects, educational scope is lessened. As the image is of low quality, there is no conceivable other use in a different scope. russavia (talk) 06:09, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
