This picture was taken against my specific request from deror_avi, not to take and not to upload to Commons any picture that include me and a person that was announced Troll in Hebrew Wikipedia. I was very unhappy to see this picture. I am in the Green Shirt and the Troll is in the red shirt. you can see him in other pictures too. To the Troll user page in Hebrew wikipedia, see here. Thanks. Hanay 07:02, 27 November 2011‎

If someone ask you specific not take his picture that offend him, as a person you should do it. It is a common courtesy. Really this picture is not important, only few persons with a Troll eating something. Hanay (talk) 04:19, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Many of the images uploaded by Deror avi are not important to the project. This should be dealt with. We do not need tens of photos of Elef Milim wikipedians posing for groups photos here! Chesdovi (talk) 11:40, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think an airbrush attempt would be needed. Chesdovi (talk) 22:23, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm guessing she'll only settle for complete removal of herself rather than a simple blurring or pixelization. A crop on the left side would only remove the nominator and one other identifiable person, while an airbrushing could look awkward. (In Soviet Commons, picture deletes you!) --Kramer Associates (talk) 14:19, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete It's very rude to take a picture of someone when you know he doesn't want it in certain circumstances. It's even more rude to upload it to Commons and refusing to delete it. Kooritza (talk) 05:10, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
She does not appear in the picture - she is with her back to the image. No picture was taken with both her face, and the other person (who is not a troll by the way and was never declared as one). Note - she is with the green shirt at the back, and is not seen at all - picture should be kept as curtesy to all other wikipedians at the meetup. Deror avi (talk) 08:59, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you indeed have their permission? Chesdovi (talk) 11:42, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Her very blurry profile appears in the background of this image with the other man in front (hand on face). --Kramer Associates (talk) 14:19, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
From a purely legal standpoint: in my legislation (Germany) for triggering a possible violation of personality rights it is enough that someone can recognize the involuntarily depicted person, even if the person is not recognizable for most viewers. --Túrelio (talk) 14:22, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Re. Wikipedians P1070798.JPG., it looks like the guy in the red shirt is trying to hide from the camera. Chesdovi (talk) 14:28, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think the nom with the troll are both in this image too: File:Wikipedians P1070767.JPG. Chesdovi (talk) 14:40, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Chesdovi for point it out. I am also in this picture with the Troll. I am going to ask to delete File:Wikipedians P1070767.JPG too. I am sorry to say that deror did not tell the truth here. This person was declared a Troll in Hebrew Wikipedia by Bureaucrat. You can ask him his name is Ido and here a link to his User talk page. I can also tell you that may User page in Hebrew Wikipedia is protected because of this troll and what he insist to write in my talk page. Someone dose not understands what a Troll is. Hanay (talk) 03:59, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I added 2 more delet request Commons:Deletion requests/File: Wikipedians P1070798.JPG and Commons:Deletion requests/File: Wikipedians P1070767.JPG for the same reasons. It seems that deror choose to ignore my request from him. Why? I have no idea. Hanay (talk) 04:49, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete The lady doesn't want to be there and that is enough. Pick does not show some kind pf an outstanding view Ori~ (talk) 17:11, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete whatever the circumstances, troll or no troll no private person should appear in Wikicommons which is a very public place against their will and without their consent. Almog (talk) 05:05, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete This is a follow up to a big fight between Hanay and Deror about allowing trolls to participate in the Elef Milim project (and the guy is a troll by the standard definition - He was blocked hundreds of times). This image can only cause damage. Daniel B (talk) 06:27, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Keep (Only on principle. Explanation follows)
    1. To the best of my knowledge, this photo was not taken in a private place, nor in a private event.
    2. The person requesting deletion cannot be recognized from the photo. For that same reason, the picture does not violate anyone's wishes.
    3. The fact the someone was announced a "Troll" does not prohibit uploading his/her pictures. Not to mention the fact that it is debatable whether this person was ever announced a troll on he-wiki.
    4. At the most, if a claim can be made that the person asking deletion is identifiable in this picture, a simple crop should settle the issue.
    5. Finally, if the picture is redundant, it would be nice if Deror avi would agree to deletion, just for the sake of peace and quiet. My impression is that this request clearly represents a typical sore losing reaction carried over from another debate. It is best not to dance this Tango. Oyoyoy (talk) 08:12, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete If a person explicitly asked that his or her photo wouldn't be uploaded to Commons, we should respect that. Another thing that we should keep in mind - this is not exactly a unique photo of a Discoglossus nigriventer nor a photo of the capture of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi. It's a photo of people sitting next to a table. Wikimedia projects will not be less usefull if this photo is unavailable. Idobi (talk) 18:12, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment. I think Oyoyoy summarized in the best way. After talking with Dror Avi in his he.wiki talk page, I believe that Dror will make the correct decision her. Just to mention. Some of the comments of user Chesdovi were not helpfull her. Geagea (talk) 23:47, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • What Oyoyoy forgot to mention, is the fact that I asked Deror Avi in the beginning of the tour not to take any picture of me with the Troll. Deror for reason I do not understand choose to ignore my request and took my pictures. I made an effort not to appear in the pictures. I did not stand with all the group when the grup picture was taken. see here. This is violation of my rights. Hanay (talk) 08:26, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • If you look at this DR you can see that Dror Avi says the same Hanay specificlay said that her face would not appear with a certain person. But in the same DR you have been encouraged to support deletion even when the "troll" not there.
      • I dont think that Dror intended to break your request. In this file we can not see yor face, in this file Dror tried to blur your face and this file we can not see the "troll's" face (different clothing?). Maybe, as Dror mentioned in his talk page, if you contact to him in his talk page the problem been resolved, and maybe not. But from the sequence of events, I believe, he felt attacked and react like so.
      • Generally I think that all this is a metter of respect between two grownup people and not violation of rights. You are both faithful allys in making huge free encyclopedia. You are both distinguished contributors to the he.wiki. Please figure it out between you without all the drama. Geagea (talk) 03:06, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
        • Geagea realy. I tried to "figure it out" with Deror in the begining of the tour, but as you can see, it can not be done.
        • About this quote: Hanay specificlay said that her face would not appear with a certain person - that what deror choose to write in order to explain his behaviour. What I said to him was do not take any picture of me with the Troll, and if it happens do not upload it to commons.
        • About seeing my face - see also File:Wikipedians P1070767.JPG. I wonder when you will understand why Deror did what he did Hanay (talk) 04:23, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete to respect personality rights of non-notables that there would be no page for. Ottava Rima (talk) 01:34, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete If the photo is less then outstanding in its contribution to commons, then the request for deletion by an individual shouldn't be ignored. Itzuvit (talk) 07:48, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete come on, she doesn't want to be in the same frame with that troll. That's enough for me Damzow (talk) 11:51, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete I believe many of the photos we have of Wikimedians are out of the scope of Commons. If there is a specific reason why the picture is needed, fine; but if it's just a matter of having pictures of people in our "tribe", how is that any different from the random photos any number of non-notable bands, vacationers, etc. etc. upload, which we routinely delete as being out of project scope? If there is any concern about privacy at all, I feel the burden should be on the uploader to explain why there is value in this specific photo, which -- I think relevantly -- is not included on any Wikimedia project page. -Pete F (talk) 07:21, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
