What is the copyright status of the photo displayed on the screen? Pete F (talk) 21:05, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just to expand on that a little -- although the legal/copyright question is now addressed, and the file is now in compliance with our Terms of Use, I do think there is a further question: does this file, which we now see is basically just a lower resolution version of File:V22-Osprey.jpg with some stuff around the edges, advance our educational mission in any way? Is it in the scope of this project? You have claimed elsewhere that your uploads (done in a personal capacity, but from a staff account) serve a different purpose -- to serve the transparency of the Wikimedia Foundation. So if that is the standard -- is it true? Does this photo-of-a-photo actually serve to make the Wikimedia Foundation more transparent? Personally, I don't think so. I'm not going to actively pursue its deletion (now that the legal/copyright issues have been addressed), but I also don't feel any compulsion to withdraw a nomination, which creates a venue for others to discuss this sort of thing if they like. -Pete F (talk) 20:25, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: No problem anymore PierreSelim (talk) 15:31, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
