This file was initially tagged by Icon flag as Speedy (speedydelete) and the most recent rationale was: The correct vertical position - especially the stars - of the flag is here: Flag of the United States, vertical.svg Huntster (t @ c) 03:59, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. Not a reason to delete. – Illegitimate Barrister (talkcontribs), 03:59, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Keep The file is in use on en:Flag of the United States and fi:Pystyliputus, so by COM:INUSE it should be kept even if it's inaccurate. Once the DR is over, it might be renamed. --bjh21 (talk) 13:16, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Icon flag is trying to replace this perfectly good file (File:Vertical United States Flag.svg) with a file named File:Flag of the United States, vertical.svg. The stars in Icon flag's new file are rotated by 90° which is a defacement of the US Flag. So no, do not delete File:Vertical United States Flag.svg. If you want to delete something, please delete File:Flag of the United States, vertical.svg instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MapGrid (talk • contribs) 14:34, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep: this is the standard vertical display of the U.S. flag – it's definitely not standard to rotate the stars as in File:Flag of the United States, vertical.svg. Alkari (?), 25 February 2019, 00:43 UTC
