To assume a university logo is created at the very date of the uni's creation is absurd. Have no idea why "Internet search" could be a valid source that proves the logo is created before 1927, the Wikipedia article says "The university's coat of arms was granted by the College of Arms in 1954." Please have a look at the uploader's contribution, many of his uploads have the same problem. 淺藍雪 04:35, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: The existence of this image has led to a perfectly legitimate fair use image being deleted. The file with this name that had been on en.wikipedia peacefully since 2008 was moved to File:University_of_Chester_coat_of_arms_(fair_use).png (because the Commons version 'stole' its name) and was then deleted because it was no longer used in any articles. This is a loss to the University of Chester article. - Green Tentacle (talk) 14:15, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
