Non-free file. The UKIP logo is copyrighted by UKIP, and has not been released under the free art license. Xijky (talk) 18:47, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I want a source for that. The pound sign isn't copyrightable, the rest of the design would easily fall under PD-textlogo. Fry1989 eh? 01:54, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That only applies in the US. In the UK, while names, geometrical patterns and colours can not be copyrighted in their own right, simple combinations of them can be copyrighted as logos. According to Commons:Licensing - "Uploads of non-U.S. works are normally allowed only if the work is either in the public domain or covered by a valid free license in both the U.S. and the country of origin of the work." --Xijky (talk) 07:11, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Delete - Clearly the combination is a recognizable logo and it looks like a non free logo to me. Off2riorob (talk) 21:03, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
