Per en:List of statues in Yerevan, this is a statue from 1967. Per COM:FOP#Former Soviet Union, it needs to be deleted. Stefan4 (talk) 18:32, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Freedom of Panorama

The statue stands on public access area, the freedom of panorama applies here. Szczebrzeszynski (talk) 19:46, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It does not apply because Armenia only has freedom of panorama for non-commercial purposes. --Stefan4 (talk) 20:35, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Is Wikipedia COMMERCIAL??? Nonsense! Szczebrzeszynski (talk) 20:53, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Commons:Licensing, especially about fair use. In short: commons does not allow content that is non-commercial only. As far as I know even the fair use material on English wiki *can* be used commercially too (in the context of fair use, of course). Please separate this two concepts: Wikimedia projects are non-commercial, but they provide content that can be used for all purposes, also commercially (for example: http://pl.wikinews.org/wiki/Ukaza%C5%82o_si%C4%99_wydanie_polskiej_Wikipedii_na_DVD) A.J. What is n:pl:2007-07-20: Ukazało się wydanie polskiej Wikipedii na DVD? A DVD edition of Wikipedia? The fair use material on English Wikipedia can be used commercially in the United States but not necessarily in other countries. --Stefan4 (talk) 15:51, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
