Delete per Commons:Deletion requests/File:Banat, flag (proposed).png and Commons:Deletion requests/File:Banat, proposed flag.png. Uploader has already been warned on this kind of flag uploads or better said re-uploads. As I have not been able to see the deleted images, I cannot know the differences, but the titles give enough impression that the user is making his/her own heraldry. This is the most common accepted flag of our region, the recent poll taken on facebook after one week concluded in 60% approval rate for it. That's why a petition to the Romanian Government was made. And by the way, it says "unofficial", so the information is correct. Also you have on the Transylvania page a flag which isn't official, and which isn't Transylvania's, but presented as so. Also you have on Template:Portal Banat a coat of arms not of the Banat, but only of the Banathian Swabians.User:PetrusdictusA(talk) 15:57, 4 April 2018 (UTC+1)

User:TurbojetThe Eagle represents: the Turul (native Banathian Vlachs have Hungarian admixture), which is also the deity of the Huns and the Avars, two populations who had their seat of power in the Banat. It's also present on the Cenad clan coat of arms, who were Dukes of nowadays Banat. The Eagle also represents the Black Eagle on the Banathian Swabian's coat of arms. The Cross is a Patriarchal Cross, generally associated in our land with Saint Stephen of Hungary, founder of the Diocese of Cenad, fomentour of Christianity, traditional founder of the Banate of Severin and a Saint in both Catholic and Orthodox Churches. Many old crosses in Banat are like that. Further elements on the coat of arms include the traditional Banathian Lion, the coat of arms of the Dukes from the Cenad and Osl Banathian clans, the coat of arms of Charles-Robert of Anjou, the King from Timisoara, the coats of arms of the Banates of Severin, Lugoj-Caransebeș and Timișoara. You can also notice the symbols of other two populations who established a local home rule: the Triskelion for the Ancient Celts and the Red Eagles of the Gepids.The background is actually the unofficial, and popular flag, namely Saint George's Cross on a green background. Saint George is Banat's Patron Saint since 1028, and white and green are the colours of the Banathian-Swabians. So no Hungarian iredentism, just local symbols of our history, of our origin, of our identity and inheritance.PetrusdictusA

I don't contest the history of Banat, but there is no suitable source sustaining the proposed flag and coat of arms, so, this is inadmissible. Virtually any part of the world can argue for a color or other heraldic element. Since 1921 the coat of arms of Banat is in the lower right quarter of coat of arms of Romania (the lion), so in the portals about today's Banat it should appear this coat of arms, not one invented by you.
