If this image came from a private collection, it would still need a source, otherwise we can't tell if it was published with a copyright notice or not. Ellin Beltz (talk) 22:21, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya, have a look here, this was around the same subject (Taffy fashion): en:Wikipedia:Possibly_unfree_files/2015_July_7#File:Bazaar57fn.jpg. Original uploader might have a clearer source. -- Deadstar (msg) 21:47, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Ads from that era very rarely had copyright notices and, if this one did, it would have to here, on the ad, because the publication's general copyright notice covered only editorial material, not ads. .     Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 12:16, 11 November 2016 (UTC) Ellin was uncomfortable with this closing, so I ran a search in the USCO database and there is definitely no renewal of this copyright. I didn't expect to find one, because the dress line was not produced after 1958, so no one would have a reason the renew the copyright .     Jim . . . .
