Appears to be a copy from a book, caption, page number, little black line at bottom. Ellin Beltz (talk) 16:06, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

File:Sumerian figurine.pdf is a traced version of the photograph from the book page you extracted. That explains why the book page was in there in the first place. Technically the traced image is a derivate work. But being a traced image and the object being too old for copyright protection, the only thing left from the photo is the angle. Nothing more. A 3D-model of the object would be fine. Just a camera angle can't be protected by copyright.

I assume that the text is protected by copyright, threfore we might should crop this image (and remove the image from the pdf, or delete the pdf)?  — Johannes Kalliauer - Talk | Contributions 18:34, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@JoKalliauer: the photo also needs to be removed. The traced version removes things like lighting choices, but the original photo is copyrightable. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 19:30, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
