Evidently grabbed from this website (and cropped) without any apparent permissions or licence Scheinwerfermann (talk) 16:35, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ooooh so close, but unfortunately:

They are both black F-bodys with the same system but look more... closelier...RXrenesis8 (talk) 21:10, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, a couple things: If you did in fact take this photo or obtain formal permission to use it, please provide proper licencing and source information for it. At present, it contains only a vague reference to STS and an unsupported assertion of PD status. Secondly, it's neither productive nor appropriate to use playground-squabble tones in a discussion like this one. Please participate coöperatively, thanks. --Scheinwerfermann (talk) 16:54, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
First and foremost: It was not my intention to be childish, my apologies if it came across like that. It actually seems on my end like you are blindly trying to frustrate me, which I can be fairly sure is not the case! I was merely trying to lighten a mood that I perceived to be heavy. Also of note: I'm a bit of a dick, if you'll pardon the colloquialism.
Secondly, and on to the matter at hand: I don’t exactly know how that template got in there… I’m pretty new at this. I’ve been going over all of the pages trying to find an applicable license. I think it’s going to have to be something like { { PD-author|author } }. I’m still a bit confused about this vast amount of this copyright law stuff…RXrenesis8 (talk) 21:50, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, no worries, it's all good. You're right, it's not the same image, though at least in the central area of the photo they're very close! The licencing and copyright stuff can be difficult to understand if you try to swallow it all at once, but for any given single image it's usually not all that baffling. The answers to the first questions get you most of the way towards where you need to go: What is the source of this image? Did you make it yourself, or did you find it somewhere? If you found it somewhere, where? --Scheinwerfermann (talk) 17:35, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kept - obviously not the same image & I don't see any other reason to delete it at present, since the uploader is in the process of fixing the necessary information.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 00:02, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
