Cremea is Ukraine territory 83.245.227.39 07:35, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

...it's Crimea. Why delete the entire file and the entire file history for that reason? --Umberto NURS (msg) 09:10, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
That's not a reason to delete the file. I suggest changing the border into a dotted line, similar to the disputed areas of Kashmir. But the color should remain blue because it represents the time zone currently observed there. Heitordp (talk) 19:16, 27 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I think the request for deletion should be removed. The map depicts the local time zone regardless of national borders. At the moment, the territory in question is certainly being operated on a different time zone from mainland Ukraine. --Kingsidebishop (talk) 03:06, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: no valid reason for deletion. P 1 9 9   13:13, 3 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have wrong map of the EET zone. Whole territory of Ukraine should be included in EET zone with Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk, despite that fact that these regions were annexed or captured by Russian Federation or with help of Russian Federation armed forces and Russia-backed terrorists. Do not support terrorism! MikePollan (talk) 14:08, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Keep: File is in use on many Wikipedias. Commons will not delete a used file just because its accuracy is disputed. See COM:NPOV for details. --bjh21 (talk) 23:04, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Keep: The map is supposed to show the time zone actually used by the people in each area, regardless of the political situation. Crimea and parts of Luhansk and Donetsk really use UTC+3, not UTC+2 (EET). The map shows Luhansk and Donetsk as part of Ukraine, as recognized by all countries, just with a different time zone. Note that the red line is the time zone boundary, and the white line is the international border. However, the map shows a white line between Crimea and the rest of Ukraine, recognizing it as part of Russia, which is the de facto situation. I suggest making this line dashed, similar to the disputed areas of Kashmir. Either way, there is no reason to delete the whole map. Heitordp (talk) 02:10, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Speedy keep: Most obvious case ever to keep. There is absolutely no valid reason for any kind of deletion request. This map is often updated - and the only valid way of avoiding errors in the map is updating it and NOT deleting it. Zudem gehören politische Querelen NICHT in die WP!!! Btw: this map depicts reality, not any political claims! Please remove deletion request ASAP! --ProloSozz (talk) 18:09, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
