- It's not PD-RusEmpire if it wasn't PUBLISHED in the Russian Empire. We have no evidence of such publication date. Creation date is not grounds for assuming early enough publication.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 13:33, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- We need a proof for publication in 1912 till 1917? That's might be impossible for many files here. Where did the pictures have to be published, in a newspaper or a book for instance? And then we have to prove that? Should be this true we have to delete masses of old pictures. --Ras67 (talk) 17:47, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- Just because lots of photos on commons break the rules doesn't mean the rules dont exist. Yes, we have to find an earlier enough publication, be it a poster, book, newspaper, magazine, pamphlet, etc. But the publication date is a requirement here.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 18:04, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

Deleted: per nomination and discussion. Per community decision of Commons:Village_pump/Copyright/Archive/2017/03#Cut-off_date_for_the_PD-old_template a photo which is older than 120 years can be maintained. Therefore this photo can be undeleted 121 years after 1912 so in 2033 .. --Ellywa (talk) 07:58, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
