The description claims the interval shown is "64/63 = 27.62 cents"; in fact it is 36/35 = 48.77 cents (plus an octave). We already have File:Septimal quarter-tone on C.png to illustrate that interval. This image is therefore redundant. Really? We have (both Hyacinth (talk) 00:03, 18 March 2017 (UTC)) File:Unison on C.png and File:Perfect octave on C.png. Hyacinth (talk) 21:19, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
A link from the creator's user space is not a realistic educational purpose. Both File:Septimal quarter-tone on C.png and this file show an octave plus 48.77 cents, so the analogy with File:Unison on C.png doesn't hold. Burninthruthesky (talk) 09:04, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
How is an interval nearly the size of an octave about 50 cents? Hyacinth (talk) 00:02, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I had let the octave difference pass unmentioned, because I assumed you weren't trying to imply there are only 27.62 cents in the whole interval. Now clarified. Burninthruthesky (talk) 09:04, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I should mention that "nearly the size of an octave" is also incorrect. As you know, a 7 lowers the note. Burninthruthesky (talk) 09:08, 18 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: image is not the same as the suggested alternative, and wrong descriptions can be edited. P 1 9 9   14:09, 31 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
