No FOP in Iran Rohalamin (talk) 19:05, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dear friend @Rohalamin,
Hi,
I am not entirely familiar with some subtle copy right rules of Wikimedia Commons so I would just put forward my arguments in defense of keeping this file here. I would appreciate it if you would try to help me on keeping this file here. If this doesn't help, then I will respect your decision for deleting this file.
I have recently found the name of the sculptors on the web and have added their respective names on the file details though unfortunately, I was not able to find any contact information for asking their permission for uploading this file on Wiki Commons (They both seem to be born and raised in the city of Nishapur in which this sculpture is situated, reference 1 & reference 2). I am not familiar with the FOP laws on Iran since the text of these laws are not easily accessible on the web (in Iran) but this sculpture has been described by some Persian media sources as the "Biggest Simurgh Sculpture of the world" (R3 & R4) though I am not sure if this justifies keeping this file here. Also this sculpture is situated next to a public park and it has been situated besides a major high traffic highway of the country (road 44 of Iran) and it is not in a private property and a lot of digital pictures of it have been circulated on the web ( for example on Google Maps and some Persian media websites though I am aware of the fact that they might have infringed a copyright law.)
Thank you for taking your time and effort for reading my defense.
Yours Sincerely, Ehsanbasafa. (talk) 05:25, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You mean, this sculpture is built by you? Sincerely it may be possible, but you'll have to demonstrate via VRT that why this sculpture 1. is free-licensed by yourself as the copyright holder and 2. why it's within our scopes. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 02:54, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
