The current image at this file is apparently an edited version (by User:Zinnmann) of the original (by User:Tzaph) uploaded here, and is tagged for hist-split. However, I think the original is inferior and is not worth keeping (once the image desc is updated to note the details of the latter editor's change vs original). If I were to split it, I would DR the original. So I'm just jumping up to confirm that we don't need to keep the original as a directly usable image (and hence offload it to a separate filename). Likewise the original version at File:Schablone Logarex 25524-S, Chemie II.jpg vs its edit at that same filename. DMacks (talk) 05:04, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
- Delete the original as inferior, and trout the insistent upload warrior. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 05:18, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
- Certainly, deletion would have advantages. On the one hand, the faulty retouching would not be so easy to recognize and on the other hand, hardly anyone could eliminate this error. What could be more in the sense of the last editor? He would be the only one who benefits from this dubious action, but to the detriment of Wikipedia. MagentaGreen (talk) 07:34, 23 June 2019 (UTC)
- I don't insist on my retouched version. Just revert it. --Zinnmann (talk) 12:01, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
Kept: I think this dispute has been resolved. We just keep the retouched version under the same name. --Sebari – aka Srittau (talk) 12:27, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
