Sorry, but this is obviously a modern work of art and located in Iceland, which has no usable freedom-of-panaroma exemption from copyright. Thereby, this image violates the copyright of the sculptor. -- Túrelio (talk) 20:39, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
I sent an e-mail to the artist and asked her what she thinks about the use of the picture of her artwork. I hope she will send an answer; then it should be clear whether the photo has to be deleted or not. -- DasPumm (talk) 16:46, 24 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you very much for inserting it. So please know that I agree that your photo is published in Wikipedia." - Vom Gefühl her ja; aber ich möchte dich bitten, die komplette Email von Frau Thorarinsdottir an permissions-commons@wikimedia.org (OTRS) zu mailen und dabei den Dateinamen File:Sandgerði.jpg zu erwähnen. Dann wird ein OTRS volunteer prüfen, ob das ausreicht und ggf. ein sog. OTRS-ticket ausstellen. Falls es nicht reicht, wird er/sie sich bei dir oder Frau Thorarinsdottir melden.
