No evidence this nontrivial logo is available under the claimed license - the license of the code of an extension does not necessarily apply to its logo * Pppery * it has begun... 16:32, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: I have no problem with anyone wanting to push this back on the MediaWiki wiki where it came from. —Uzume (talk) 16:57, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- That doesn't help if there's a licensing problem. * Pppery * it has begun... 19:13, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Comment @Pppery and Uzume: 2 remarks:
- this logo is a simple remix of File:20101031 SemanticMediaWiki Logo.svg and File:Apache Solr logo.svg (both clearly under free license).
- did anyone tried to contact SBachenberg? that is the easy to have more clarity.

- @VIGNERON: Well Pppery made this token gesture but Special:CentralAuth/SBachenberg made the most edits between January 2010 and February 2014 at mw:Special:Contributions/SBachenberg (the same site where this image was migrated from). However SBachenberg seems to have never responded to anything posted on mw:User talk:SBachenberg. Besides your observations about the images origins, perhaps the best evidence of the license is the SMW SolrStore at SourceForge. —Uzume (talk) 17:12, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Delete, self made logo, of no educational use. Only used on a wikidata item today. Ellywa (talk) 11:21, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
Deleted: The image is derivative of two images with different licenses. The license on this image does not conform to the CC license on the consituent. . Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 15:03, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
